Sample yeast/candida yeast control program.

Candida Control to help achieve a healthy pregnancy.

Optimize Your Health
Optimize Your Life
Because you are trying to conceive, your Candida Control options are limited, and after you conceive, you will need to change your candida control program to use just those things that are known to be safe during pregnancy.
You can use candida control in addition to ANY fertility program that you are doing, in order to improve your chances of successfully getting pregnant and carrying your baby to term.

Because Candida control targets PCOS as a whole, and it is to help put your PCOS into remission, not just to help you achive a pregnancy, your body might take some time to go through the healing process as the PCOS is put into remission.  So it might take 4 months or longer for your body to heal from the PCOS, and finally result in pregnancy.   During the time that you body is healing, your cycle might not become normal right away, and it might even seem to get out of wack at first.  I recommend that you continue with candida control for at least 4-5 months to give it a chance to work.

I recommend that you do everything possible to get the yeast in control, and to keep the yeast in control in order to increase your chances of success.
It is highly likely that your husband also has a yeast imbalance.  I also recommend that your husband also do a candida control program to make sure that he doesn't give the yeast back to you as you are trying to get it under control.

Here is a suggested candida control program.:
Diet:
Limit sweets, and simple carbs.  Especially avoid high fructose corn syrup, and junk food carbs.  Switch to whole grain products instead of refined grain products: whole wheat bread and pasta, and brown rice.
Eat a diet high in nutrients to prepare your body for a healthy pregnancy.  Make sure to get enough raw fruits and vegetables in a variety of colors.  A whole food vitamin supplement, (NO synthetic vitamins).
Be sure to get enough protein: eggs, milk, and/or beans.  I recommend eggs that are high in Omega3.  Regular eggs only have 35 mg of Omega3 per egg.  Look for a brand that has at least 300 mg of Omega3 in EACH egg.

Supplements:
* Candex, (approx. $40 for 1 month supply)
Vitamin Shoppe sells Candex, and herbal yeast fighters online.
*OR* NSI Candida Yeast Management instead of Candex ($30 for 2 months supply)
* Stabilized probiotics (acidophilus).  Price will vary by quality.
I haven't tried it yet, but The NSI Probiotic appears to be excellent quality: Click here.
* Yeast Defense (approx. $15), or another herbal yeast control supplement of your choice.

Start with the Candex (or NSI CYM).  Take 2 caps right before bed at least 2 hours after eating, and 2 caps first thing in the morning, at least 1 hour before eating.
Also starting taking the probiotics as directed on the bottle.

After 1 or 2 weeks of starting the Candex (or NSI CYM), add the Yeast defense.  You can start with 2 a day, and after a few days increase to 4 a day.

You can add any of the other candida control methods to increase your chances of success, like Monostat or other vaginal treatments, or Diflucan (Rx)

If your cycle has been irregular, longer than 32 days, or absent, it should become a regular 27-29 day cycle within the first 2 months.  If not, try adding another candida control option to your program.
Continue your candida control program until you get positive pregnancy test.  The candida control program should have gotten the yeast under control, and you should only have to keep the yeast under control during pregnancy.

After you get a positive pregnancy test, stop the yeast defense, and any other candida control options that you added in to the supplements above, and make sure you ask your doctor which supplements are safe to take during pregnancy.

My personal candida control plan during pregnancy includes the following:
- Continue limiting sweets, and refined carbs, eating healthy
- Candex 2 caps am, and 2 caps pm
- Garlic supplement as directed on the bottle
- Probiotics as directed on the bottle.
